Opiate & Addiction Task Force

Summit County Opiate & Addiction Task Force LogoIn February of 2014, the County of Summit ADM Board convened the Summit County Opiate Task Force, a group of key individuals and organizations committed to reducing the tragic consequences of opiate abuse in Summit County through education, collaboration, advocacy, and the wise use of available resources. As an increasing public health problem, the opiate / heroin epidemic has resulted in a dramatic rise in accidental deaths and immeasurable heartache. Working together, we all can play a role in helping to end this lethal epidemic.

The one-pager provided view one-pager PDF describes some of the activities of the Opiate Task Force. The current Strategic Plan PDF provides an overview of the work of the task force to date as well as plans for future endeavors.
